A few weeks ago, I presented the first of a short series of guides dealing with outfitting-related matters. That guide, Outfit and Wardrobe Management, contained some tips to help manage your cosmetics and storage space to make the process of planning an outfit more efficient.
In place of this week’s outfit, today I’d like to offer the second guide, Making Outfits, which contains some tips and strategies to help with the creative process of making an outfit and looks at questions like, “what makes a good outfit?”, and “how do you go about finding pieces to include in an outfit?” Since outfitting is personal and creative, the tips in this guide aren’t the bottom line, or the definitive answers to those questions, but they are strategies that have worked for me, and I hope the beginning outfitter will find them helpful in establishing his or her own outfitting methods.
I hope you’ll all enjoy the guide, and I’d love to hear your own tips and tricks as well, so please feel free to comment on the guide! Look for the third and final guide of this series sometime in October. Until then, happy outfitting!
